Job Description:
The Senior Specialist Category Manager (Procurement) will be responsible for managing procurement activities across various categories, focusing on optimizing supply chain strategies and vendor management. The role includes sourcing, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services in line with organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement category management strategies for procurement.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with key suppliers.
- Analyze market trends and drive cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement aligns with business needs.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure delivery timelines are met.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in procurement and category management.
- Expertise in strategic sourcing and vendor management.
