Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Laundry Technician to join our team for a leading hospital maintenance contract in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in maintaining and repairing laundry equipment, ensuring they operate efficiently to meet the needs of the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of various laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironing machines.
- Conduct regular inspections and testing of laundry equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff and hospital departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Assist in developing and implementing maintenance schedules and procedures.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certification.
- Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience as a Laundry Technician.
- Strong knowledge of laundry equipment systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with maintenance management software and tools is a plus.
