Job Description:
The Port Captain will be responsible for overseeing the overall vessel operations and ensuring safe and efficient handling of marine operations. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of port operations, logistics, and vessel management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of vessels within the port
- Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and safety standards
- Coordinate with port authorities, agents, and shipping companies
- Supervise loading, unloading, and cargo handling operations
- Prepare voyage reports and performance evaluations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering or related field
- Valid Captain License with extensive experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
