📝 Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Estimation Engineer with strong expertise in Fire Alarm, Fire Fighting, and Ventilation Systems. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, reviewing technical drawings, and supporting project bidding processes.
The role requires in-depth knowledge of fire protection systems, BOQ preparation, and coordination with suppliers and engineering teams to ensure competitive and precise project estimation.
🎯 Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimations for Fire Alarm, Fire Fighting & Ventilation systems

Analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications

Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and material take-offs
-
Coordinate with suppliers for quotations and pricing

Review project scope and identify cost-saving opportunities
-
Assist in tender submissions and technical documentation

Ensure compliance with Qatar Civil Defence (QCDD) standards
🎓 Qualification Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering

Additional certifications in Fire Protection Systems (preferred)
🧠 Skills Required

Strong knowledge of Fire Alarm & Fire Fighting systems

Expertise in Emergency & Exit Lighting systems

Good understanding of Ventilation systems design

Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and coordination abilities
📊 Experience Required

Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in design & estimation

Must have GCC/Qatar experience in Fire Protection projects
📌 Mandatory Requirements

✅ UPDA Certification (Minimum Grade C)

✅ QCDD Certification (Mandatory)

✅ Qatar Driving License (Preferred)

✅ Strong knowledge of local regulations and standards
