GIS Engineer

Location: GCC Region  , Doha , Qatar

Job Description: We are hiring a GIS Engineer with 10 years of experience in managing and developing GIS systems. The ideal candidate should have experience with SQL scripting, web-based GIS solutions, and working primarily with ESRI ArcGIS, ArcGIS Server, and related technologies. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a Western institution is preferred, but non-Western education will also be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage GIS systems for drainage and other infrastructure assets.
• Utilize SQL scripts to extract and analyze data.
• Implement web-based GIS solutions using ESRI ArcGIS and related technologies.

Qualifications:

• BSc in Engineering (Western education preferred, but non-Western education will also be considered).
• 10 years of experience in GIS systems and asset management.

Skills:

• Proficiency in ESRI ArcGIS, ArcGIS Server, and Microsoft C#.Net, Python, or VBA.
• Experience with SQL scripts and web-based GIS systems.

Additional Requirements:

• UPDA certification is an advantage.
