📌 Job Overview
Al Waha Contracting Company is urgently seeking a highly experienced Estimation & Tendering Engineer specializing in Wet Utilities projects. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in preparing competitive bids and handling tendering processes for major infrastructure projects in Qatar.
This role is critical for securing projects by delivering accurate cost estimates and technically compliant proposals, especially for government-related works.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates for Wet Utilities projects (Water Supply, Sewerage, Drainage).

Analyze tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs.

Handle complete tendering process from inquiry to submission.

Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations and pricing.

Prepare technical and commercial proposals in line with client requirements.

Ensure compliance with Ashghal & Kahramaa standards and regulations.

Identify risks and provide value engineering solutions.

Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely submission of bids.
🎓 Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Additional certification in Estimation / Project Management is an advantage.
🧠 Skills Required

Strong expertise in estimation, tendering, and BOQ analysis.

In-depth knowledge of Wet Utilities systems (Drainage, Sewer, Water Networks).

Familiarity with Ashghal (Public Works Authority) and Kahramaa standards.

Proficiency in MS Excel, estimation software, and AutoCAD (basic).

Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
🧾 Experience Required

Minimum 7+ years of experience in estimation & tendering.

Mandatory experience in Ashghal & Kahramaa projects in Qatar.

Proven track record in handling infrastructure or utility projects.
