📌 Job Overview
Walco Middle East is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer for Proposal & Estimation who can prepare accurate project cost estimates and technical proposals for engineering projects. The candidate will play a key role in analyzing project requirements and ensuring competitive and profitable bids.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimations based on project specifications and drawings.

Analyze tender documents, BOQs, and technical requirements.

Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations and pricing.

Develop technical and commercial proposals for submission.

Identify project risks and provide cost-effective solutions.

Ensure timely submission of bids and proposals.
🎓 Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Certification in estimation or project management is a plus.
🧠 Skills Required

Strong knowledge of cost estimation & tendering process.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and BOQs.

Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation software.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication skills in English.
🧾 Experience Required

Minimum 4–7 years of experience in estimation/proposal roles.

Experience in Oil & Gas / Construction / MEP projects preferred.
