Mechanical Design Engineer

📍 Location: Qatar
Job Description:
-
Design HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems for MEP projects.
-
Prepare BOQs, perform quantity takeoff, and support tendering processes.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Develop mechanical system designs and technical specifications
-
Prepare BOQ and cost estimation for mechanical works
-
Conduct quantity takeoffs from drawings
-
Coordinate with electrical and civil teams
Qualification:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Experience:
-
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in MEP projects
-
Qatar/GCC experience preferred
Skills Required:
-
Knowledge of HVAC design and MEP standards
-
Proficiency in AutoCAD and design tools
-
Strong understanding of tendering & BOQ preparation
-
Good communication and teamwork skills
-
Fluent in English
