Candidzone is a leading company in Qatar specializing in MEP engineering solutions, HVAC systems, plumbing, drainage, and fire alarm systems. The company is expanding its design and engineering team to support large-scale construction projects in commercial, residential, and industrial sectors.
The company is seeking an experienced Mechanical Draftsman responsible for preparing detailed mechanical drawings for HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire alarm, and other MEP systems. The candidate will coordinate with engineers and project teams to produce accurate, high-quality technical documentation for construction and installation.
• Prepare detailed mechanical and MEP drawings for HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire alarm systems.
• Coordinate with engineers and project teams to ensure accurate and timely design documentation.
Develop mechanical and MEP layout drawings using AutoCAD or Revit
Prepare shop drawings and as-built drawings
Coordinate with engineers and project teams on design requirements
Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards
Maintain drawing documentation and revisions
Support project engineers during installation and commissioning
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / MEP Drafting / Building Services
Minimum 6+ years of experience in mechanical drafting
Proven expertise in HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire Alarm, and MEP systems
Experience working on construction projects in Qatar
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other drafting software
Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire alarm systems
Ability to read and interpret mechanical and MEP drawings
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work under deadlines and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
