A growing engineering and MEP company in Qatar is currently looking for qualified and experienced professionals to join their technical team. The company is involved in building construction, MEP engineering, and infrastructure projects across Qatar.
The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for building and infrastructure projects. The role involves preparing electrical layouts, load calculations, and ensuring compliance with local and international electrical standards.
Prepare electrical design drawings, layouts, and schematics.
Perform electrical load calculations and system analysis.
Design power distribution systems, lighting systems, and control panels.
Review project specifications and ensure designs meet project requirements.
Coordinate with mechanical engineers, architects, and project teams.
Ensure designs comply with Qatar construction regulations and international standards.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 4–6 years of experience in electrical design engineering within the construction or MEP sector.
Knowledge of electrical design software such as AutoCAD and other engineering tools
Understanding of power distribution, lighting design, and electrical systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and coordination abilities
