SRC Automotive Services is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Automobile Mechanic to join its professional automotive maintenance team. The ideal candidate must have strong technical expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles.
This role requires hands-on experience in handling engine repairs, transmission systems, electrical diagnostics, and preventive maintenance to ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently.
The Senior Automobile Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, performing repairs, and ensuring high-quality service standards. The candidate must lead junior mechanics when required and ensure all work is completed efficiently and safely.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults in vehicles
Perform engine repairs, overhauling, and component replacement
Repair and maintain braking systems, suspension systems, and steering systems
Conduct preventive maintenance and routine servicing
Use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively
Test vehicles after repairs to ensure proper functioning
Maintain workshop cleanliness and safety standards
Guide and support junior technicians
Diploma or Technical Certification in Automobile Engineering / Mechanical Technology
Vocational training in automotive repair preferred
Additional manufacturer certifications will be an advantage
Strong knowledge of petrol and diesel engine systems
Expertise in vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting
Ability to read technical manuals and repair guides
Good problem-solving skills
Team leadership capability
Basic English communication skills
Knowledge of modern automotive diagnostic equipment
Minimum 6–8 Years of experience in automotive repair and maintenance
Experience in handling multiple vehicle brands is preferred
GCC experience will be an added advantage
Driving License preferred
Transferable visa required
