Job Description: An Architectural BIM Modeler is responsible for creating, managing, and maintaining detailed 3D models of architectural components in construction projects using Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. The modeler ensures that designs are accurate, up-to-date, and integrated with other project disciplines.
Responsibilities:
- Create and manage architectural 3D models using BIM software.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure model accuracy and coordination across disciplines.
- Update models based on design changes and project updates.
- Generate detailed drawings and documentation from BIM models for construction purposes.
- Ensure models meet project specifications, industry standards, and company protocols.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Degree or Diploma in Architecture or a related field.
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in BIM modeling, specifically in architectural design.
- Skills: Proficient in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks. Excellent understanding of architectural drawings and building construction processes.
