Electrical BIM Modeler

Job Description: The Electrical BIM Modeler is responsible for developing and managing the 3D models for electrical systems in construction projects. This includes designing electrical layouts, coordinating with other engineering disciplines, and ensuring model accuracy for installation purposes.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage electrical system models using BIM software.
• Coordinate with electrical engineers, contractors, and other team members to ensure electrical designs are integrated within the overall BIM model.
• Update electrical models as needed, reflecting design changes and project adjustments.
• Extract 2D drawings and detailed reports from the BIM model for use in construction and project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: 2-5 years of experience as an Electrical BIM Modeler in construction projects.
• Skills: Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and other relevant BIM software. Knowledge of electrical design and building codes is essential.
