A leading industrial gases and welding solutions company in Qatar is seeking an experienced and technically strong Sales & Service Engineer to join its Welding & Cutting Equipment Division. The ideal candidate must have strong sales exposure along with hands-on technical support experience in welding machines.
The Sales & Service Engineer will be responsible for promoting welding and cutting machines, providing technical support to customers, and ensuring after-sales service excellence. The role combines sales growth responsibility with technical troubleshooting and equipment servicing.
The candidate must have in-depth knowledge of welding machines, cutting equipment, and related industrial products.
Generate sales for welding and cutting machines while providing technical consultation to industrial clients.
Deliver after-sales technical support, troubleshooting, and on-site servicing to ensure customer satisfaction.
Promote welding machines, cutting equipment, and related accessories
Identify new business opportunities in fabrication, oil & gas, and construction sectors
Provide product demonstrations and technical presentations
Diagnose and repair welding and cutting machines
Coordinate with service team for installations and maintenance
Handle customer complaints and provide technical solutions
Prepare quotations, proposals, and technical submittals
Maintain regular follow-ups to achieve sales targets
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering or related field
Technical certification in welding technology is an advantage
Minimum 5 years of experience in welding equipment sales & service
Strong exposure to welding and cutting machines (MIG, TIG, ARC, Plasma Cutting, etc.)
Experience in Qatar or GCC industrial market preferred
Strong technical troubleshooting skills
Sales and negotiation skills
Ability to read and understand technical specifications
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Customer-oriented and solution-driven mindset
Knowledge of industrial gases and welding consumables is an advantage
Valid Qatar Driving License (Required)
Willingness to attend client site visits and industrial locations
