Mechanical Draftsman

Job Description: A Mechanical Draftsman is responsible for preparing technical drawings and plans for mechanical systems in construction projects. They work closely with mechanical engineers and project managers to ensure accurate detailing of mechanical components.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed mechanical drawings and schematics using CAD software.
• Work closely with engineers to translate design concepts into technical drawings.
• Ensure all mechanical drawings are accurate, clear, and meet project specifications.
• Review drawings to identify potential design issues or areas for improvement.
• Maintain an organized record of all mechanical design documents.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Drafting.
• Experience: 2-4 years of experience as a Mechanical Draftsman.
• Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other drafting software. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, HVAC, and plumbing in construction.
