Safety Engineer / Officer (HSE)

🏬 Department:

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Department

📌 Job Summary (2 Lines):

The Safety Engineer/Officer will ensure implementation of HSE policies and maintain a safe working environment on civil construction sites. The role involves risk assessment, site inspections, and compliance monitoring.

📋 Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures.

• Conduct regular site safety inspections.

• Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.

• Conduct toolbox talks and safety training sessions.

• Prepare safety reports and incident documentation.

• Ensure compliance with Qatar labor and safety regulations.

• Coordinate with project managers for safety planning.

🎓 Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering.

• NEBOSH / IOSH certification (mandatory or preferred).

🛠️ Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of construction safety standards.

• Risk assessment and hazard identification skills.

• Good communication and reporting abilities.

• Ability to enforce safety compliance on-site.

• Knowledge of Qatar safety regulations.

🕒 Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in Civil Construction.

• Experience in large-scale infrastructure projects preferred.
