Commercial & Cost Control Department
The Cost Control / QS will be responsible for managing project costs, preparing BOQs, and ensuring accurate quantity surveying for construction and fit-out projects. The role requires strong analytical skills and expertise in cost estimation and budget management.
Prepare and review BOQs (Bill of Quantities).
Perform quantity take-offs from drawings.
Monitor project costs and budgets.
Prepare variation claims and payment certificates.
Evaluate subcontractor quotations and contracts.
Conduct cost analysis and prepare financial reports.
Ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets.
Coordinate with project managers and site engineers.
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
Professional certifications in QS or cost management are an advantage.
Strong knowledge of construction and fit-out works.
Expertise in cost control and budgeting.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and estimation software.
Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
Good understanding of FIDIC contracts (preferred).
Strong reporting and documentation skills.
Minimum 7+ years of experience in construction & fit-out projects.
Proven experience in cost control and quantity surveying.
Experience in Qatar market preferred.
Must be locally available in Qatar.
Transferable visa preferred.
