Finance & Accounts Department
The Accountant will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, payroll processing, and ensuring compliance with WPS regulations in Qatar. The role requires strong accounting software knowledge and experience in cost control within a service-based company.
Handle day-to-day accounting operations including GL, AP, and AR.
Prepare and process monthly payroll through WPS (Wage Protection System).
Maintain financial records and ensure accuracy of transactions.
Monitor company expenses and implement cost control measures.
Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, and management summaries.
Coordinate with auditors and ensure compliance with Qatar financial regulations.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Ensure timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Professional certifications (CPA, CMA, ACCA – preferred but not mandatory).
Strong knowledge of Qatar WPS system.
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, ERP systems, or similar).
Strong knowledge of payroll processing and WPS compliance.
Experience in cost control and expense management.
Good analytical and numerical skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Good communication skills in English.
Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience.
Experience in a service company in Qatar is mandatory.
Experience handling payroll and cost control preferred.
Asian candidates preferred (Filipino or Indian).
Must be locally available in Qatar.
