A Leading MEP Contracting Company in Qatar is seeking experienced and qualified professionals for the following position:
Estimation Department – Electrical Division
The MEP Estimator (Electrical) will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for electrical systems in industrial and commercial construction projects. The role requires strong technical knowledge, software expertise, and coordination with suppliers and subcontractors.
Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical MEP works in commercial & industrial projects.
Analyze project drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
Conduct quantity take-offs from drawings and tender documents.
Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
Compare material prices and prepare cost analysis reports.
Coordinate with procurement and project teams for cost control.
Ensure estimates comply with project requirements and standards.
Assist in tender submissions and documentation preparation.
BSc / BTech Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Professional certification in Electrical Engineering is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of electrical estimation for high-rise buildings, substations, and infrastructure projects.
Proficiency in:
Candy Estimation Software (CCS)
Planswift
AutoCAD
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
Ability to calculate quantities from drawings and BOQs.
Knowledge of material databases and supplier pricing.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
Good command of English (Written & Spoken).
Professional attitude and smart appearance.
Minimum 10 years of experience in Electrical Estimation.
Proven experience in Industrial & Commercial Building Services projects.
Experience handling large-scale MEP projects preferred.
