A professional Engineering Consultancy Service in Qatar providing expert Mechanical Design solutions for residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use buildings. The consultancy specializes in HVAC, Fire Fighting (FF), and Plumbing system designs including authority approvals and Qatar Civil Defence Department (QCDD) compliance.
The Design Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and modifying HVAC, Fire Fighting, and Plumbing system designs for various building types. The role includes ensuring compliance with local regulations and obtaining authority & QCDD approvals.
Design HVAC systems (Cooling Load Calculation, Ducting, Chilled Water Systems, VRF, etc.)
Prepare Fire Fighting system designs as per NFPA and QCDD standards
Design Plumbing & Drainage systems
Modify and upgrade existing mechanical drawings
Prepare shop drawings, schematic diagrams, and BOQs
Coordinate with architects, civil, and electrical engineers
Handle documentation and submission for authority approvals
Ensure compliance with Qatar construction regulations
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E / B.Tech)
Professional certifications in HVAC / Fire Fighting (preferred)
Minimum 5+ years of experience in Mechanical Design
Strong experience in HVAC, FF & Plumbing design
Experience handling Qatar authority approvals & QCDD submission process
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP (preferred)
Knowledge of ASHRAE, NFPA & local Qatar standards
Load calculation & system sizing expertise
BOQ preparation & cost estimation knowledge
Authority submission & approval handling
Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills
