General Accountant

Location: Doha , Qatar
Experience: Minimum 7 years in general accounting

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced General Accountant to manage our financial records and ensure accurate reporting for management. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in general accounting and be capable of handling a variety of accounting tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and summaries.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
• Perform reconciliations of accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting.
• Prepare and submit tax returns and other financial documentation.
• Support internal and external audits as required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in general accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

Skills:

• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time management abilities.

Additional Requirements:

• Local candidates with a transferable Visa/NOC preferred.
