Job Description
Safety Officers: Safety and Catering Knowledge Preferred
Location: Shaza Hotel, Al Asmakh Street, Near Souq Waqif, R40, Doha – Qatar
Job Description: The Safety Officer will ensure a safe working environment and compliance with health and safety regulations, particularly in catering operations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with local safety standards.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, and prepare reports.
- Train staff on safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma or degree in Occupational Safety or relevant field.
- Previous experience as a Safety Officer, preferably in catering.
- Strong knowledge of local safety regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Safety certification (NEBOSH, OSHA) is a plus.
General Requirements:
- Candidates must have a valid NOC and be locally available in Qatar.
- Visa transferable candidates are encouraged to attend.
