The Subject Matter Expert (SME) will be responsible for designing, deploying, and supporting advanced network solutions for mission-critical aviation projects. The role requires deep technical expertise in enterprise and service-provider-level networking environments.
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field
CCNP or CCIE Certification is mandatory
Strong technical documentation skills
Minimum 5 years of proven experience in enterprise or service-provider network environments
Hands-on experience in MPLS solution deployment
Experience working under a formal IT framework (ITIL process flow)
Prior experience in aviation or large-scale infrastructure projects is an advantage
Strong knowledge of network systems, communication interface protocols, and diagnostic tools
Advanced expertise in:
TCP/IP, MPLS, CEF
L3VPN, L2VPN, VRF, Route Maps
GRE, DMVPN
L2/L3 Switching, LAN, STP
In-depth knowledge of routing protocols:
BGP, OSPF
VDC, vPC, FabricPath
Experience configuring and maintaining:
Cisco ASR 9K
Nexus 5K / 7K
Catalyst 7600 / 6500 Series
Cisco ASA, Aruba, Cisco WLC
Proficient in Microsoft Visio and Excel for technical documentation
Design and deliver high-quality network solutions (LAN, WAN, Data Center)
Deploy, configure, and support complex MPLS and enterprise network environments
Troubleshoot highly complex data, voice, and video network issues
Support LAN/WAN topologies including MPLS and point-to-point private lines
Ensure compliance with ITIL standards and operational best practices
Provide expert-level technical guidance to internal teams and customers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work under pressure in mission-critical environments
Strong documentation and presentation skills
