The Valve Technician will be responsible for dismantling, inspecting, machining, repairing, assembling, and testing various industrial valves. The role ensures valves meet operational, safety, and quality standards before installation or delivery.
Disassemble, clean, inspect, and repair different types of valves.
Assemble and test valves to ensure proper functionality and pressure compliance.
Handle various valve types including control, relief, and pneumatic valves.
Perform machining and fitting works as required.
Diagnose valve defects and recommend corrective actions.
Follow safety procedures and quality control standards.
Prepare basic maintenance and test reports.
Diploma / ITI in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical trade
Specialized training in valve maintenance is an advantage
Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Valve Technician
Experience in Oil & Gas or industrial valve maintenance preferred
Valve dismantling, assembly, and testing
Knowledge of control, relief, and pneumatic valves
Basic machining and fitting skills
Ability to read technical drawings
Strong troubleshooting skills
Safety and quality awareness
Ability to work independently or in a team
