Job Overview:

A leading Transportation Company in Qatar is urgently seeking a qualified Assistant Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 to 3 years of accounting experience, with a preference for those with showroom experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in day-to-day accounting tasks, including data entry, bookkeeping, and record maintenance.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
• Help manage invoicing, payments, and financial transactions.
• Support the senior accountant in ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Perform general administrative duties related to accounting as needed.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in accounting.
• Experience in showroom accounting is preferred.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is advantageous.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or other ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of financial and accounting principles.

Skills Required:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Good time management and the ability to meet deadlines.
