🚨 HIRING – FTTx FIELD ENGINEER 🚨
A reputed telecommunications services company in Qatar is hiring a qualified FTTx Field Engineer to support fiber network installation, testing, and maintenance works. This role is ideal for technically skilled candidates with strong field exposure and local availability in Qatar.
Responsible for installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of FTTx fiber optic networks while ensuring compliance with technical standards and service quality requirements.
• Monthly Salary: QAR 3,000 – 3,500
• Accommodation: Provided by the company
• 1–3 years of experience in FTTx / Fiber Optic field operations (preferred)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Stream (Telecommunications / Electronics / Electrical / IT or related field)
• Arabic – Mandatory
• English – Preferable
• Knowledge of FTTx architecture (FTTH / FTTB / FTTC)
• Experience in fiber splicing, termination, testing & fault rectification
• Ability to use OTDR, Power Meter, Fusion Splicer and related tools
• Understanding of site safety procedures and reporting
• Strong communication skills for coordination with clients and supervisors
