Job Overview:
A leading furniture company is seeking an experienced Production Manager – Carpentry to oversee and manage the production process of high-quality furniture. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in carpentry production, team management, and ensuring that the production line operates efficiently to meet company standards and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the carpentry production team to ensure the timely completion of projects.
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet business demands.
- Ensure the highest level of quality control in all stages of the furniture manufacturing process.
- Monitor production activities and make necessary adjustments to improve efficiency.
- Maintain inventory of materials and ensure the proper maintenance of equipment.
- Train and mentor staff on best carpentry practices and safety procedures.
- Troubleshoot any production challenges and resolve issues to maintain workflow.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as design and sales, to align production with client needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Woodworking, or a related field (preferred but not required).
