Job Overview:
A Grade “A” Lead Construction Company is seeking a Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join their team. The ideal candidate should have experience in building construction, be proficient in Excel, and possess strong command of the English language. The position requires immediate availability and a transferable visa with NOC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for building construction projects.
- Analyze project requirements and provide accurate quantity take-offs.
- Monitor and manage project costs, ensuring adherence to the budget.
- Prepare and review contracts, ensuring all terms and conditions are met.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Assess and value variations to the contract and manage changes to the project scope.
- Prepare progress reports and cost analysis to assist in decision-making.
- Conduct site visits to verify work progress and ensure accuracy in quantities.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Building Construction as a Quantity Surveyor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
- Excellent command of the English language.
- Immediate availability is required.
- Must have a transferable visa and NOC.
