We are urgently hiring a Road Engineer to supervise, plan, and manage road construction and maintenance works. The ideal candidate must have strong technical knowledge in roadworks, materials, infrastructure, and site execution, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
Supervise and manage road construction and maintenance projects.
Conduct site inspections, monitoring progress, and ensuring quality control.
Review drawings, specifications, and project documents.
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams.
Prepare daily/weekly site progress reports.
Ensure adherence to safety regulations and project timelines.
Resolve technical issues and recommend engineering solutions.
Monitor material quality, asphalt works, sub-base, and compaction tests.
Plan work schedules, manpower allocation, and resources.
Ensure compliance with Qatar road standards and municipality regulations.
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
3 to 5 years of experience in Road Construction & Road Maintenance in Qatar/GCC.
Strong understanding of roadwork components, asphalt, drainage, utilities, and excavation.
Experience in handling road maintenance contracts and emergency repair works.
Knowledge of QCS, Ashghal standards, and related specifications.
Must be currently available in Qatar with transferable visa/NOC.
Strong project supervision and site management skills.
Excellent communication & reporting abilities.
Ability to lead work crews and coordinate with multiple teams.
Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and site documentation.
Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Strong understanding of quality control and safety procedures.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
