A Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring safe work practices at job sites, monitoring safety compliance, and preventing incidents and accidents.
Conduct site safety inspections and audits.
Implement QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment) procedures.
Monitor PPE usage and ensure safety compliance.
Conduct toolbox talks and safety trainings.
Report unsafe acts/conditions and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare safety reports and documentation.
Diploma or certification in NEBOSH / IOSH preferred.
Good knowledge of construction safety standards.
Strong communication and observation skills.
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in construction or industrial safety roles.
