The Safety Officer will monitor and enforce safety regulations and practices on-site to ensure a safe working environment. The role involves implementing HSE procedures, conducting safety inspections, and providing safety training to the workforce.
Implement and monitor site safety programs and procedures.
Conduct daily toolbox talks and safety inductions.
Carry out site inspections and hazard assessments.
Ensure proper use of PPE and safe work practices.
Investigate accidents, prepare incident reports, and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain updated records of safety training, audits, and reports.
Diploma or Degree in Engineering / Occupational Health & Safety.
Certified in NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA or equivalent.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Safety Officer in Oil & Gas or construction projects.
In-depth understanding of HSE management systems and risk assessment.
Good communication and leadership skills.
Ability to identify hazards and enforce preventive measures.
