The Multitask Welder will perform various welding operations including SMAW, GTAW, and MIG on steel structures, plates, and pipelines. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in structural and pipe welding, capable of working on multiple welding tasks as required in Oil & Gas fabrication works.
Perform welding operations on different materials (carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel).
Interpret welding symbols and engineering drawings.
Carry out fabrication, repair, and maintenance welding works.
Conduct quality checks and follow welding procedures (WPS/PQR).
Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards during welding activities.
Technical Certificate or Diploma in Welding / Fabrication Technology.
Certification in SMAW, GTAW, or MIG welding is preferred.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in welding within Oil & Gas, fabrication, or heavy industry.
Strong knowledge of welding processes and materials.
Ability to perform multiple welding techniques.
Good understanding of quality control and inspection requirements.
Must be safety-conscious and able to work under minimal supervision.
