The Steel Erector will be responsible for assembling, positioning, and securing structural steel components for industrial, commercial, and Oil & Gas projects. The candidate must have solid experience in structural fabrication, rigging, and erection works, following engineering drawings and site safety standards.
Erect, align, and bolt-up structural steel components such as beams, columns, and trusses.
Interpret and follow engineering drawings and blueprints accurately.
Ensure all components are aligned and fitted correctly.
Coordinate with rigging and welding teams for lifting and installation.
Inspect tools, lifting gear, and safety equipment prior to use.
Maintain safety standards on-site and follow project-specific HSE procedures.
Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical or Structural Engineering or equivalent trade certification.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Steel Erector in Oil & Gas or heavy construction projects.
Ability to read fabrication and erection drawings.
Familiar with rigging, bolting, and alignment techniques.
Knowledge of safety procedures and scaffolding practices.
Physically fit and capable of working at heights.
