A reputed company in Qatar is looking for a skilled Shearing and Bending Machine Operator with hands-on experience in metal fabrication and sheet metal forming processes. The selected candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining shearing and bending machines to cut, shape, and form metal components according to project specifications. The role requires precision, technical knowledge, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced fabrication environment.
Operate shearing and bending machines to cut and form metal sheets as per required dimensions and drawings.
Set up machines by selecting appropriate tools, dies, and settings.
Interpret and read engineering drawings and blueprints accurately.
Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to ensure quality and accuracy.
Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines and tools.
Ensure a safe working environment by following all safety procedures and guidelines.
Coordinate with supervisors and team members to meet production targets.
Report any mechanical issues or irregularities in machine operation immediately.
Technical Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Mechanical, Fabrication, or related field.
Certification in machine operation or metal fabrication is an advantage.
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience as a Shearing and Bending Machine Operator in a metal fabrication or steel manufacturing company.
Practical knowledge of CNC and manual machine operations is preferred.
Strong knowledge of metal fabrication processes and tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication layouts.
Attention to detail and precision in measurement and cutting.
Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Must be currently available in Qatar with a valid and transferable QID.
Immediate joining preferred.
