Company: A Leading Transportation & Construction Company in Qatar
Location: Doha , Qatar
Qualification:
Master’s Degree or Management Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline from a recognized university.
Experience:
Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience in Qatar, preferably within the transportation, logistics, or construction industry.
Strong understanding of Qatari accounting standards, financial regulations, and taxation procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including payables, receivables, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Handle bank reconciliations, petty cash, and expense tracking.
Support budget preparation, cash flow forecasting, and financial planning.
Ensure compliance with company policies and Qatar financial regulations.
Coordinate with auditors and assist in internal and external audits.
Monitor and control project-related costs in coordination with project management teams.
Skills & Competencies:
Proficient in accounting software such as Tally ERP, QuickBooks, or SAP.
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent command of MS Excel and other financial reporting tools.
Ability to manage multiple financial tasks with attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and handle responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Other Requirements:
Must possess a valid Qatar Driving License.
Transferable visa with NOC is mandatory.
Candidates currently available in Qatar will be preferred.
