Quality & Development Officer

Location:

Job Description:

The Quality & Development Officer will play a vital role in maintaining and improving the organization’s healthcare quality standards. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with accreditation requirements, implementing quality systems, conducting audits, and supporting ongoing performance improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems across healthcare departments.

  • Conduct internal audits, prepare audit reports, and ensure timely corrective actions.

  • Coordinate and deliver staff training programs related to quality assurance and patient safety.

  • Ensure compliance with international healthcare standards such as JCI and ISO.

  • Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess departmental performance.

  • Collaborate with department heads to promote a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Support management in the preparation for external audits and accreditation renewals.


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration (mandatory)

    • Master’s Degree in Quality Management or Healthcare Quality (preferred)

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 2 years of experience in Healthcare Quality Assurance or related field.

    • Hands-on experience with JCI or other healthcare accreditation systems.

  • Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of quality management principles and healthcare compliance.

    • Excellent command of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

    • Ability to analyze performance data and develop quality improvement strategies.

    • Good communication and leadership skills for team coordination and training delivery.
