Job Description:
The Gate Pass Coordinator will be responsible for managing and processing all gate pass documentation and security clearances for company employees and contractors working at client sites within Ras Laffan Industrial City (RLIC) and Mesaieed Industrial City (MIC). This role ensures compliance with all site access protocols, safety inductions, and client security requirements.
Organize, prepare, and process gate pass applications for all company and contractor personnel in accordance with RLIC and MIC regulations.
Liaise with client representatives and government authorities to obtain required approvals and clearances.
Ensure timely renewal and cancellation of gate passes.
Collect approved gate passes from clients and distribute them to relevant personnel.
Arrange site safety inductions and ID card applications for newly assigned staff.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all gate pass transactions.
Coordinate with HR, HSE, and project departments to verify staff and contractor details.
Handle documentation related to vehicle passes and visitor access.
Ensure all procedures comply with client security policies and safety standards.
Bachelor’s Degree in Administration, Management, or a related field.
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a Gate Pass Coordination or Administrative role within the Oil & Gas industry in Qatar.
Strong understanding of RLIC and MIC gate pass systems and procedures.
Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
Excellent communication and coordination skills (English proficiency required).
Valid Qatar Driving License is mandatory.
Must possess a transferable visa with NOC.
Prior experience with Qatar Petroleum (QP) or major Oil & Gas contractors in RLIC/MIC.
Knowledge of safety induction processes and client approval systems.
Strong interpersonal skills for dealing with clients and site authorities.
