Job Description:
The Fire Alarm Engineer will be responsible for the design, installation, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems in accordance with Qatar Civil Defense (QCDD) standards and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and supervise the installation of fire alarm systems (conventional and addressable).
Prepare shop drawings, load calculations, and material submittals for consultant approval.
Coordinate with contractors and site teams to ensure compliance with project specifications.
Conduct system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
Ensure all systems meet QCDD requirements and international safety codes (NFPA, BS, etc.).
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelorâs Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of experience in fire alarm and fire protection systems, with at least 3 years in Qatar.
Strong knowledge of QCDD regulations and approval procedures.
Proficient in AutoCAD and fire alarm design software.
Valid Qatar Driving License preferred.
NOC and transferable visa are mandatory.
Candidates must be locally available in Qatar with a transferable visa and NOC.
Previous experience in fire & safety systems is essential.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
