The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for all cost estimation, contract administration, and financial management aspects of roads and infrastructure projects. The candidate must ensure the accurate preparation of interim payments, measurement of works, and claim submissions in accordance with CESMM3 standards.
Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field from a recognized university.
Minimum 12 years of experience in roads and infrastructure contracts.
Proven experience in claims preparation, interim payments, variations, and measurements as per CESMM3 (Civil Engineering Standard Method of Measurement, 3rd Edition).
Prepare and verify interim payment certificates (IPCs).
Carry out detailed measurement of executed works.
Prepare, evaluate, and defend claims and variations.
Monitor project budgets and ensure cost control.
Coordinate with the project team, clients, and consultants for financial matters.
Maintain accurate documentation and cost records.
Strong knowledge of CESMM3 and FIDIC contracts.
Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Candy).
Strong report-writing and documentation ability.
Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadline
