The Project Contract/Commercial Manager will be responsible for managing all contractual and commercial aspects of roads and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions, monitoring project financial performance, and overseeing claims and cost control activities.
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management.
A Master’s Degree or MRICS/FRICS certification is an added advantage.
Minimum 12 years of experience in roads and infrastructure projects, including at least 5 years in a managerial capacity.
Strong background in contract administration, commercial management, claims handling, and project cost control.
Lead the commercial and contract management team on infrastructure projects.
Oversee the preparation and review of contracts, tenders, and subcontract agreements.
Manage all commercial activities including claims, payments, and variations.
Provide strategic advice on contractual risks and financial implications.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure smooth execution.
Monitor project performance, profitability, and cost-to-completion.
Comprehensive knowledge of FIDIC and CESMM3 standards.
Strong leadership and negotiation skills.
Excellent understanding of contract law, claims preparation, and dispute resolution.
Proficient in project cost management software (e.g., Candy, CostX).
Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
