A reputed and specialized Engineering Construction Company engaged in Marine Infrastructure Projects is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estimation / Tender Engineer to join its dynamic team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimations, tender proposals, and technical submissions for marine and infrastructure projects.
Prepare detailed cost estimates, tender proposals, and bid documents for marine and civil infrastructure projects.
Review project specifications, drawings, and contract documents to determine project scope.
Conduct quantity take-offs, cost analysis, and rate preparation for all project components.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams for technical clarifications.
Identify and evaluate potential subcontractors and suppliers for pricing.
Analyze technical requirements and ensure compliance with client tender specifications.
Prepare technical and commercial submissions within required deadlines.
Maintain a database of costs, suppliers, and historical project information.
Support management during tender negotiations and clarifications.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in estimation and tendering within the construction or marine infrastructure field.
Language Skills: Excellent command of English (written and spoken); Arabic language skills will be an advantage.
Strong technical background in estimation and tender preparation.
Knowledge of marine construction works (jetty, quay wall, dredging, piling, breakwater, etc.) is a strong plus.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and tender specifications.
Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cost calculations.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
