A reputed company based in Doha, Qatar is looking to hire a Philippine Accountant (Male or Female) to join their growing finance team. Candidates must be currently available in Qatar and ready for immediate joining.


Position: Accountant (Philippine National Only)

Job Type: Full-Time


Job Description:

The Accountant will be responsible for managing daily accounting activities, preparing financial reports, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the finance department in ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations including payables, receivables, and general ledger.

  • Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.

  • Record journal entries, reconcile bank accounts, and verify transactions.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and filing of financial records.

  • Handle petty cash management and expense tracking.

  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.

  • Coordinate with auditors, suppliers, and management for financial queries.

  • Ensure compliance with Qatar accounting and tax regulations.


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.

  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience as an Accountant (preferably in Qatar or GCC).

  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems.

  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, VAT, and reconciliation.

  • Good command of English (written & spoken); Arabic knowledge is an advantage.

  • Must be Philippine national (Male or Female).

  • Must be available in Qatar with transferable visa and immediate joining.


Skills Required:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

  • Good organizational and time management skills.

  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving ability.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting tools.

  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.


Experience:

  • 2 to 4 years of proven accounting experience, preferably within trading, contracting, or service-based companies in Qatar or GCC.
