Job Description:
The AC / HVAC Technician will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of air conditioning and HVAC systems in residential, commercial, and industrial facilities. The role requires expertise in identifying issues, performing repairs, and ensuring optimal performance of HVAC units.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine inspection, preventive maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems.

Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in air conditioners, chillers, split units, and package units.

Replace defective parts such as motors, compressors, thermostats, and fans.

Maintain accurate maintenance records and service reports.

Ensure systems operate efficiently and comply with safety and environmental standards.

Respond promptly to breakdown calls and perform corrective actions.

Support installation of new HVAC systems when required.

Coordinate with supervisors and facility teams for timely resolution of issues.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Diploma / ITI Certificate in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum 3 years of Gulf experience in maintenance and servicing of HVAC systems.

Strong understanding of HVAC principles, electrical wiring, and refrigeration cycles.

Familiarity with various brands and models of AC systems (split, ducted, package units, etc.).

Knowledge of Qatar safety standards and maintenance protocols.

Valid QID and transferable visa preferred.
Skills Required:

Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

Hands-on experience in electrical and mechanical components of HVAC systems.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Physical fitness and readiness to work in different site environments.

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of work experience in the Gulf region handling HVAC systems.

Experience in facility maintenance or contracting companies preferred.
