Job Description:
The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the design, installation, testing, and maintenance of piping systems in accordance with project specifications and Qatar Construction Standards. The role requires hands-on experience in mechanical and piping systems used in commercial and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee mechanical and piping installations on project sites.
Review and interpret project drawings, specifications, and material submittals.
Ensure compliance with Qatar Construction Standards (QCS) and safety guidelines.
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams.
Conduct pressure tests, inspections, and prepare project documentation.
Manage and support the commissioning and handover process.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
UPDA Certification (Grade C/B/A) is mandatory.
Minimum 5 years of experience in piping systems and mechanical works in Qatar.
Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems.
Knowledge of AutoCAD and project management tools is preferred.
