A leading construction company in Qatar is seeking a qualified and proactive Project / Purchase Coordinator to manage project coordination and procurement activities. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in civil projects and experience in both local and international procurement processes.
Coordinate between project, procurement, and site teams to ensure smooth workflow.
Handle material requisitions and maintain updated procurement records.
Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers.
Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery of required materials.
Monitor project progress and assist in scheduling and documentation.
Maintain effective communication between departments to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
Assist in cost estimation, budgeting, and procurement planning.
Prepare regular reports on procurement status and material tracking.
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management.
Strong command of written and spoken English.
Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in civil project coordination and procurement.
Experience in construction industry and handling local/international procurement preferred.
Familiarity with vendor management and documentation in the construction sector.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Attention to detail with good analytical and documentation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Team-oriented with a proactive work approach.
