Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting and finance.
Experience in a contracting/construction company is mandatory.
Candidates must be Arabic-speaking and locally available in Qatar.
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
Handle project costing, expense control, and reconciliation related to construction projects.
Review and verify supplier invoices, subcontractor payments, and project budgets.
Monitor cash flow, handle bank reconciliations, and manage financial forecasting.
Ensure proper documentation and filing of all accounting transactions.
Coordinate with auditors for yearly financial audits and tax filings.
Prepare management reports, profit & loss statements, and variance analyses.
Maintain compliance with company financial policies and Qatar financial regulations.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (Master’s Degree or professional certifications such as CPA / ACCA / CMA preferred).
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Oracle ERP, SAP).
Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Excellent knowledge of Qatar accounting and tax regulations.
Strong organizational and reporting abilities.
Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Minimum 7 years of accounting experience, preferably in a construction or contracting company.
Hands-on experience with project accounting, cost control, and financial analysis.
Experience in managing multi-project financial reporting and cost tracking.
