Hothed Middle East is a leading provider of Oilfield Services and Equipment Rentals in Qatar. The company offers specialized solutions to support the oil and gas industry through reliable supply chain operations, efficient equipment management, and professional service delivery. We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Procurement & Inventory Officer to join our growing team.
The Senior Procurement & Inventory Officer will be responsible for overseeing all procurement and inventory operations to ensure that materials and equipment are purchased efficiently and inventory levels are optimized. The role requires strong analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills to manage supplier relationships, streamline processes, and maintain accurate stock levels.
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the company’s operational and financial goals.
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Maintain and monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability without overstocking.
Manage warehouse organization and apply efficient inventory management techniques.
Liaise with various departments to align purchasing processes with company objectives.
Track purchase orders, delivery schedules, and supplier performance.
Resolve any discrepancies in supply, pricing, or quality of materials.
Prepare periodic reports on procurement activities, inventory status, and cost analysis.
Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
Maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Provide leadership and training to junior staff involved in purchasing and inventory control.
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Oilfield Services, Industrial, or Logistics sector.
Proven expertise in procurement, inventory management, and warehouse operations.
Strong understanding of purchasing principles and processes.
Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage procurement and inventory issues efficiently.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in tracking materials and stock.
Effective time management and decision-making abilities.
Strong communication and negotiation skills (English fluency required).
Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of handling multiple tasks under pressure.
Valid Qatar Driving License.
Transferable visa with NOC (No Objection Certificate).
