Customs Clearance Agent
We are urgently looking for an experienced Customs Clearance Agent to join our team in Qatar. The candidate will be responsible for handling customs documentation, clearance procedures, and ensuring compliance with Qatar Customs regulations.
Manage all customs clearance procedures for import and export shipments.
Prepare, review, and submit required customs documentation.
Liaise with customs authorities, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders.
Ensure timely clearance of shipments to avoid delays and penalties.
Maintain accurate records of customs transactions and documents.
Stay updated with Qatar customs laws, regulations, and tariff schedules.
Coordinate with internal departments to support smooth logistics operations.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).
Valid Qatar Customs Clearance License (mandatory).
Minimum 3 years of proven experience in customs clearance within Qatar.
Strong knowledge of Qatar customs laws, clearance processes, and import/export regulations.
Excellent knowledge of customs regulations and HS codes.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Ability to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proficient in MS Office and customs clearance systems.
Fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage).
