Job Description:
Maxim Qatar is looking for a qualified Mechanical Engineer with UPDA approval to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising mechanical works, reviewing designs, ensuring project quality, and coordinating with other engineering teams to deliver successful projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, review, and supervise mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, drainage, etc.) in line with project requirements.
Monitor site execution to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
Prepare technical reports, BOQs, and project documentation.
Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely execution of work.
Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
Ensure adherence to Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS) and other regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
UPDA (Urban Planning & Development Authority) approval is mandatory.
Minimum 5 years of experience in the same field (preferably in Qatar).
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
Skills Required:
Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
