Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Planning Engineer (MEP) to manage and oversee the preparation of detailed construction schedules, cost-loaded programs, and related project planning tasks. The role involves creating comprehensive project timelines, cash flow projections, manpower histograms, and risk registers, along with monitoring progress, performing delay analysis, and preparing claims for delays and extensions of time (EOT).


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed construction schedules for assigned projects.

  • Create baseline cost-loaded programs, cash flow forecasts, manpower histograms, and risk registers.

  • Identify project deliverables and milestones.

  • Prepare work breakdown structures (WBS) for project(s).

  • Conduct regular site visits to verify progress data.

  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, including S-Curves.

  • Perform delay analysis and prepare associated reports.

  • Prepare claims for delays, EOT, and associated costs.

  • Coordinate with project teams, management, and stakeholders to ensure schedule adherence.


Qualifications:

  • BTech / BE / BSc in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

  • UPDA certification (mandatory).

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in MEP project planning and scheduling.


Skills Required:

  • Advanced knowledge of project planning tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).

  • Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction methodologies.

  • Excellent administration, communication, and negotiation skills.

  • Professional appearance and strong interpersonal abilities.

  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
